John Murray published London Lights – The Minds that Moved the City that Shook the World 1801-1851, the story of London in the early 19th century, told through the lives of the scientists, artists, engineers and inventors. He has curated many exhibitions, particularly on Turner. The hugely successful exhibition on Volcanoes for Compton Verney became a book. Atlantic publish The Business of Culture – about the art world in Victorian England – in 2014.
