Strindberg, a Life, shortlisted for the Samuel Johnson prize, won the Duff Cooper. She has written for the TLS, The Economist, The Art Newspaper and The Spectator. She acted as consultant to Sotheby’s on their record-breaking $119,000,000 sale of The Scream. She has acted as consultant and dramaturge on plays by Ibsen and Strindberg, spoken at Tate Modern, The Royal Academy and MOMA and appeared on TV and radio in the UK, the USA and Korea. She is writing a life of Niezsche.
