Richard Koch

RichardKochRichard is an investor, entrepreneur and author.
He has had three careers – the first as a ‘strategy consultant’.  After the Boston Consulting Group he joined Bain & Company, where he became a partner.  In 1983 he co-founded LEK Consulting, which went from 3 to 350 professionals in six years.
In 1989 Richard left to get involved with new young businesses.  He helped to rescue Filofax and Plymouth Gin, started Belgo restaurants, and was an early investor in Betfair, making high returns on all these ventures.
He’s written around 20 books, including The 80/20 Principle, which has sold more than a million copies worldwide.  His latest book is The 80/20 Manager, published by Little, Brown in the UK and US in 2013.
