Tim Harford

TimHarfordTim is the author of the million copy-selling The Undercover Economist and, among other books, Adapt: Why Success Always Starts with Failure and The Undercover Economist Strikes Back (UK: Little Brown 2013; US: Riverhead 2014). He has presented a number of BBC TV and radio programmes about economics or statistics, including Trust Me, I’m An Economist, Pop-Up EconomicsĀ and the long-running More or Less. He has spoken at TED, PopTech, and the Sydney Opera House.
Tim is a senior columnist for the Financial Times, and a visiting fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford. He lives in Oxford with his wife and three children.
